I have a broody siting on 3 or 4 eggs after they hatch will she go back broody?
She shouldn't continue to be broody 'cause she will be taking care of the chicks.
I probuly take the chickes then will she go broody agin
Not necessarily. I wouldl wait a couple of weeks before you take the chicks. Whether you need to or not I don't know.
She will not stay broody in any event. Her hormones will kick back in to lay more eggs. If you switch her to another pen it should happen more quickly.
I have one hathcing eggs right now and if you watch and listen from a distance you can hear her "talk" to the unhatched chicks while they are in the egg. It's really quite amazing. (though not all hens are the same).
Have a great hatch.
