Broody's 14 eggs - hatching today - Should I let her raise the chicks?

I have them in about a 4'x8' covered pen with an upside down round plastic tub for a coop. The "coop" is covered with hay with a small opening just big enough for her to get in and out. I used an old cattle molasses tub and cut an opening at the top ( now bottom ) with a sawzall. I also keep another piece of plastic leaned up against the side of the tub to keep the wind from blowing directly in her door.

They'll be fine in TX. I have hens go broody in the middle of December, but I don't let them hatch anything when there's snow on the ground. The nice thing about a fall hatch is that you'll have pullets ready to lay in the spring. With spring chicks, you have to wait until the summer is practically over... and by then the days are getting shorter.
