brown leg horns

Anyone have them could you share some info and pictures? Looking into a good layer,cold hardy.Do the standards fly alot etc.

What are you looking for in a brown leghorn? A pretty bird? I think my bl Alice is one of my prettiest birds and so does DH. Big white eggs? Alice lays a large but not xlarge egg. She lays everyday. I wouldn't say she is flighty although she doesn't care to be picked up too much........some of my others want to be held constantly. She is not aggressive and is small compared to my other birds.

My other white egg layers are Cal. Whites. They are not pretty but are personable.........like to fly up on my shoulder when I'm in the run. Lay a larger egg everyday.

Well, I only have the one but no she is not aggressive at all. Don't know about the roo's tho. I just love her feather pattern. And she always looks so clean compared to the whites who must spend much time under filled perches.
