Is there a way to tell by their tailfeathers if a brown leghorn is a hen or Roo? They are a little over a week old and 2 chicks have similar looking tailfeathers and one's tailfeathers look different. I am a newbie and probably know the least about chickens as anyone else here. Always dreamed of having chickens and we finally moved from the city to the lake. I'm so excited about learning and raising chickens.
