brown leghorn genes

    Hi, quick question. does a....

    light brown leghorn = black breasted red = gold duckwing?

    trying to figure out a brown leghorn in the ol' chicken calculator....

The color is also called Partridge sometimes but its not the patterned Partridge like Cochins and Rocks and breeds like that, its the Duckwing based color, like the Gold Welsummers are sometimes called Partridge Welsummers.

    ah ok. I always wondered why some of the "partridge" chickens didnt all have that lacing like the rocks/cochins. And yeah, i've been using the gold duckwing example and it said BBR/LB so i figured it was black breasted red and light brown. just needed some assurance.
