Bruised chicken foot!!

My husband was gathering up our 7 week old chickens to bring them inside for the night and our 70lb dog was "helping". He is very gentle with the chickens, but I guess he stepped on one of their feet while herding them inside. I didn't think much of it, but today the chicken's foot is a bit swollen and bruised. He is limping, but can still curl his toes. Nothing seems broken as far as I can tell. Is there anything I can do for him?

It should heal just fine in a couple of weeks.
