My duck egg piped last night while I was asleep. Everything seems good. But I have this odd colour near by where it is pipping. Could this be a sign of shrink wrap?!

I have found bruising to be very common in duck eggs. In my experience and reading the stories of others, bruising usually occurs were the internal pip is.
Ok thank you so much. Just super concerned about shrink wrapping because I’ve had the humidity drop once during incubation.

What’s your suggestion for humidity at this point?
I usually have humidity at 65% for duck eggs.

Signs of shrink wrapping are yellow/brown membrane, no progress for over a day, and distressed chirping. Keep in mind ducks cane take up to three days to go from pip to zip, so don't stress to much if you don't see much progress.

This is the pip 3 hours apart. And also the pip 15 hours after Initail pip. Is it making alright progress to you?
