BRxBlue Orpington: what would it look like?

I was asked if I wanted some hatching eggs from a local guy that had crossed his BR rooster over his blue Orpington hens. This is something he just started, so he doesn’t have any adult birds from the cross. Does anyone have pictures of it? I know a barred sire over a solid black mother would make both offspring barred, but I don’t know if it works the same for blue?

Oh, definitely. I don’t have any links, but I’ve seen many threads of barred x blue crosses. Though I can’t recall if I’ve seen a thread about that specific cross. If you want to know what a blue barred chicken looks like, you could search blue cuckoo marans, sapphire gem rooster, or cuckoo bluebar.
