budgie:male or female?

    Hello there , I have my budgie (lutino i think) for 5 months now.i have read many forums but I couldnt figure out the gender of my budgie.i would be very thankful if someone could help me in this.here is a picture.[​IMG]

    P.s : I'm thinking of getting him/her a partner and I dont want to make a mistake and buy the same gender...I believe its a girl but second and third opinions are more than welcome.

    Yes :) thats true but sometimes its hard to figure out the sex because of their mutations .I ll go for one that is definetely male .thank you by the way;)

    Female birds have a pink/red beak. I've noticed that it will get redder as they age.

    i m pretty certain thats a male,not a female.a recessive pied male budgie will have a "pink" cere not blue. and very young females have white on their ceres no matter what color it is .

    i have photos of male and female recessive pied but unfortunately i was unable to figure out how to post photos...sorry
