This young roo is out of a buff roo, but they had several hen choices EE, EE/buff, Cochin, and jersey giants. Any guesses which was the parent? They said EE, but he was also supposedly a she too so who knows.[IMG][/IMG][/IMG]

Straight comb and clean face should rule out any EE blood.

Clean legs should rule out cochin blood, plus he just doesn't look like a Cochin at all.

I'm guessing that leaves a Gaint.

They had buff hens too but he looks like a cross to me. Thanks for the informative response. I wondered if his legs were indicative or not. Barnyard mix anyway. I have him and a straight RIR to choose from, or get rid of them both and get the lavender roo.
