How is the Buff Laced color produced?
Quote:by adding Dominant White(or two copies of Blue Bl/Bl therefore resembling dominant white) to gold laced birds...
Dominant white will dilute the ground color(gold color) to a buff shade..
Awesome! Thanks, do you know if a White rock is a dominant white bird??
Quote:I don't know...
I have heard that some are dominate and some are recessive. I have a few White Rock left in my herd.
White rocks are usually dominant white, although they may also commonly carry recessive white and barring.
Quote:Thank you. I think Ithis was what I was told. I just don't always get it out like it should be.
What breed is the buff laced in the picture?
looks like a wyandotte
