I have one buff orp who is 2 1/2 years old. I look at my six ladies every day and noticed yesterday that she has pink stripes down her legs and pink between her toes. Is it possible that I just never noticed that before and I am looking for a problem? She is the only one molting and it is a heavy molt. She is also at the bottom of the pecking order. They are well fed and cared for. I have been lucky that I haven't had any health problems with them. Anyone else have this or am I just goofy ( a real possibility)? ETA: would mites do that? Not recently but several times a year I wipe the roost with a kerosene rag.
