So we got two straight run older chicks (8-12) week range and I felt pretty confident they were both hens, but I'm questioning myself a little on the Orp now. The RIR still seems all girl to me, but thoughts on the BO??

Looking like a pullet to me.

Heres a facial close up. Definitely all pink on the comb and wattles!

Oh good! The erect tail had me wondering because I heard the hens only have a "bustle" and not a tail. But I hope you're right!

I'm not sure, but am going with pullet for now. Those comb/wattles are concerning.

I think I am going to rain on the parade... I'm going to vote cockerel. Here is my 11 week old buff which is clearly pullet

I've raised buff orps for years and that is 100% hen.

I agree with Mountain Peeps, she's a Buff Orpington hen.

I had two buff Orpington hens, the fox got one but the other is still alive. Neither of them were ever that tall or had a tail that erect. Pretty sure that's a roo, but I hope I'm wrong [IMG]
