Is that possible? My Buff Orp chick has a tiny bit of fluff on both legs, right above where the leg turns into foot. Orps have feathered feet?

orps do not have featherd feet.

It could be what is called side sprigs they are considerd a show defect.
It will still be a good chick just not for show or breeding.
    Pics would help.

are you sure that's what it is? I know cochins have feathers down their legs and feet, but not orps..

There aren't lots of feathers, just little tufts of equal size on either ankle/foot area. The eggs were marked Buff Orpington, I had 18 and only two hatched. [IMG] I'll try and get a pic later this evening:)
