Buff orphingtons suddenly turned Roos!

    So these two are over a year old. And I could have sworn laid for me last summer. (I was getting 2 light brown eggs, and only have 3 possibilies). Then two days ago one walked up to our back door and crowed at me. Several times. That's when I noticed he had developed sickle feathers. Thoughts? Are both roosters? One has more saddle feathers than the other. But both have huge combs and waddles.

    Ugh! I seriously am just fit! They are over a year old! Silly late maturing macho chickens!
