Buff Orphintons blue & gold males or females ?

    Please help me figure out if these chickens are males or females. They are blue buff orphantons and gold buff orphantons, I believe around 15 weeks or so.

    The blue Orpington looks like a boy, the buff Orpington looks like a girl.

    (Just so you know, "buff" is a variety name, not a breed name [​IMG])

    I agree, both blues are boys, the golds are girls. Easy to tell apart for you! [​IMG]

    Yes, the comb size is pretty obvious.

    You have a Blue Orpington Rooster and a Buff Rock Hen.
    Buff Orpingtons would have White legs yours have Yellow so I would say it is a Plymouth Rock and not a Orpington..

    I guess the gold chickens are blue orpington father, with a chantecler mother.
