Buff Orpington 8 weeks old

First time chick mom here. We got 4 “pullets” from the local TSC. Our two barred rock were clearly roo’s at 5 weeks. Now my 2 buffs are starting to look like roo’s and both were clearly trying to crow yesterday AM. I’m hoping it’s just a phase but I’m sure I’m wrong.

check the wings.... not a lot of people 'believe' that you can sex an Orp by their feathers, but I was able to -no problem-
I just used the tons of available images online to tell a roo wing feather from a pullet.
I had 12 Orp, at 6 weeks I figured that I had 8 roos... turned out to be right. frustratingly. lol

I’m going to give it a little more time just in case but they certainly did sound like young roo’s at 6:30 the last few mornings. My barred rocks developed combs so fast that I thought I was safe with the buffs. And they’re both the sweetest. We had already got four more chicks to replace the rocks. Hopefully we will have better luck with the two cinnamon queen and two sapphire gems.
