Whats the best age to tell gender of buff orpingtons? I think are about 5-6 weeks old, thoughts? They were both from the pullet bin but I am starting to wonder about #2

1 is a pullet 2 may be a cockrell but also may be a pullet.

#2, is a cockerel, comb is large, & red.

1 looks to be a pullet. 2 is a cockerel.

I was beginning to think 2 was cockerel. Debating if I want to wait it out and see or start finding a new home now.

if they were different genders, 1 would be a pullet, and 2 would be a cockerel.

I was beginning to think 2 was cockerel. Debating if I want to wait it out and see or start finding a new home now.

I do think that 2 is a cockerel but I would wait to re home just in case

Okay, I will wait it out. Thanks for the advice. I also feel like the picture makes it look more pink/red than in real life. But still bigger and more color than the other one.
