    Welcome to BYC!

Unfortunately, it's impossible to know the result of any white cross without knowing the white's ancestry. The recessive white gene is not a color, it's an off switch for other colors. Think of it like the light switch in a room. You can turn the lights off, and you will no longer be able to see the room, but the room and all the things in it are still there. White masks other colors. A white chicken is genetically another color, one that can't be determined unless you know it's ancestry or you have test bred it. Some common colors for white Silkies to be hiding include Partridge and Black, but it can really be anything at all under there.

The offspring will be the result of Buff X whatever color the white is hiding. Buff crosses vary a lot depending on what the other half of the cross is, since Buff is a complex color controlled by several different genes. 100% of the offspring will carry a copy of the white gene, meaning they won't show any white, but their offspring would if bred back to another white or white carrier.
