Buffalo gnats in ducks?

I have seven runners that are almost fully feathered and I want to move them out into a run, but I'm worried about buffalo gnats. I've already lost some chickens to them. So far I've kept the ducks inside where it's fairly dark, but its getting really wet and nasty in there. Does anyone know if the buffalo gnats will bother the ducks if I put them outside?

If you've lost some chickens to them then I'd say your ducks are at risk too, a lot of folks including myself have been using the vanilla car fresheners to keep the blk flies and reg flys at bay maybe they will work on Buffalo gnats too. just keep up and replace them often.
