Just recently became interested in becoming a backyard chicken addict. I have been studying the different breeds and their different personalities etc. I also have been studying how to take care of chickens and have taken a recent chicken tour in our local community. Spent a full week building and rebuilding my chicken tractor. That was so much fun. I decided to start out with the breed Buff Orpingtons because of their docile personality. I purchased three beautiful pullets from a nice person in Dry Ridge, Ky and I just love them. I'm currently keeping them in my chicken mobile chicken tractor until they get a little bigger. I can't wait to have them free roam in my fenced in backyard. I have been reading Backyard Chicken postings to prepared me to be a good chicken owner. Thank everyone for all the help.
