So I checked my broody hens this morning and found a 1/2 zipped egg with a dead chick. As I started to pull back the shell to see 'why' the little fellow had died. A redish small centipede came crawing out. Maybe only 1/4 inch long or so. So now I am worried....is my coop infested? Or was the bug drawn into the shell from the death of the chick? I have some Sevin Spray (not the dust) can I use that in the coop, with hatching eggs and chicks??
