Is anyone getting a good price on bulk feed and treats for chickens. We have 9 full grown and 9 new ones 3 mos old. We spend a lot of money keeping them fed. Looking for some deals since we now own 18 hens.

You'll have to see what is available in bulk locally for you. Most bulk animal feed is usually sold by the ton.

[IMG] I'm glad you joined us!

I don't know a good source of bulk feed. If you post in the Feeding section of the forums, though, members there may be able to help: Feeding & Watering Your Flock

    Good luck!

    Hi :welcome
Glad you could join the flock! X2 with matt on checking out your local feed store. I buy mine in 20kg bags that fit nicely into a dustbin with lid so that it is kept dry. It's cheaper buying this way for me from the local feed store rather than small bags from the pet shop. Buying more in bulk does require you to be able to store it correctly so it does not go off or out of date.

Wishing you the very best of luck and hope you enjoy BYC :frow

Thank you for this suggestion. I will ask at our local feed store for bulk purchases. Wondering if there are any websites that someone has found to be good as well.[IMG]

What size bag are you currently buying and what is the cost of it?
