We've been treating one of our hens for Bumble foot for about 3 weeks, we've followed recommendations from this site and others including soaking in Epsom Salt, trying to remove the bumble with a scalpel, tweezer, wrapping with vet wrap after using vetrimycin and antibiotic creme. We isolated her for 2 weeks and let her back out with her flock this week. She continues to limp and when we did the last dressing change on Sunday, (every 3 days,) it's still swollen and hard. We plan to do further digging and give her an injection of Duramycin today. I've never injected a chicken. Is it IM or sub q? Any good videos to recommend? We don't know what else to do and are feeling rather helpless!

Can you try to upload a picture to show how severe it is?
We followed the video that was posted in this stream and we think we finally got it all. We had to cut about 1" long and pretty deep but a huge, marble sized bumble finally came out. As of today, she is without a bandage and walking almost normally. Hopefully it doesn't return. It was about a month of treating her before actually getting the bumble out. Very dififcult but learned alot! Sorry, don't have any photos but it was really BAD!
