Sooooo - my poor Bev has had a nasty run of bumblefoot that has required booties, vet visits and nightly foot soaks w/silverdine + oral antibiotics. She's fine and seems to be finally getting better. Made a lot of changes to their terrain to nip the cause in the bud but damn... it seems to pop up on all of them all the time.
Here is my q - Winnie has two very small ones (one on each foot). They aren't bothering her that I can tell- she's not limping, there is is no visible swelling on the top of her foot if anything I was pretty surprised that she had them. Do I need to go all crazy on the offensive and soak, booties, daily silverdine applications or do I only need to do that when it's obviously impairing? At this point --- I feel like i just need to have booties on all my ducks at all time. They insist on being on the deck (pooping) all day when I am inside working and or being wherever I am when I am outside and the reality is I do have a lot of concrete around my house.
