This is the right foot of a three-year-old speckled sussex hen. It is slightly swollen compared to the left foot. Around three days ago, we found her lying on the ground, seemingly unable to use her right leg. At first, we thought of Marek's, but no other part of her body seems affected at all. We've isolated her, and she is now able to stand up and can hobble a little on the right foot, but she doesn't want to put any weight on it and mostly stays put. When she does stand, she mostly curls up her toes.
Does this look like bumblefoot? These spots weren't present a couple of days ago. If so, any suggestions for treatment? I know there's a lot out there, but I have no idea whether this (if it's even bumblefoot) looks like a serious case or not.
Thanks!
Robert
