Hello everyone. Well my rooster has this bump in between his toes and on top of his foot. It is soft, and the skin appears red/orange in the center. As you can see from the pic his toes curl in and he has a bit of an awkward gait. The pic is the best I could get, he hates getting his photo taken and did not like me pointing the camera at him. He is 1 yr old. In great health otherwise. I haven't looked at the underside of his feet as he HATES being held or handled and screams and carries on.

How do I proceed? Do I open it up and clean it? My first impulse is to drain and clean but, maybe I'm wrong. Thanks for any help.
