I have had a person give me 5 roosters. They are about a year old she said. How long should I wait to butcher them? Also what is the best cooking method for a rooster this old? Will the meat be tough? These will be my first time butchering. I have Cornish x chicks that are 3 weeks old. But wanted something for practice. Before i butchered stuff I have money invested in. So any tips would be great.
