One of my polish girls passed so I got my remaining girl an OEG bantam friend. The guy I got her from said she was Butterscotch. Is this a thing? She was hatching last spring. I just can’t find anything about this color chicken anywhere.

From my understanding silver quill is similar to Fayoumi or silver Campine coloring. Yellow legs can happen in hatchery birds, so that could be the answer if she's not a mixed breed. She's a cutie whatever she is.I'm in love!
Agreed, since leg color is off (Silver Quill sport slate, correct?), I'd also guess mixed breed. Unless, of course, this type of thing appears in hatchery quality birds.

I thought so, too....fascinating, exotic color variety in OEGBs. It's difficult to know unless we had more information as to where she came from. From my understanding silver quill is similar to Fayoumi or silver Campine coloring. I googled it but no matches for butterscotch old English game bantams. So I am skeptical. In color, yours looks more like a silver quill old English game bantam, but she has yellow legs, which isn't right for the breed. I suspect she is a pretty mixed breed rather than a purebred.
Either a poor quality Golden Campine OEGB or a mixed breed.
Well it looked golden to me.......Silver Campine OEGB you mean.
