After 9 days in the mail, wicked November weather and the winter egg loss of fertility, they hatched anyway! [IMG] [IMG] Alex is a grandma again! Nine cbbq chicks and 5 cot's have surfaced so far and I am thrilled! And best of all, they don't look anything like the colors of the last group I hatched! [IMG] I don't know what colors they are but I'm thrilled just the same! They are incredibly cute [IMG]
Thanks so much Alex! They are wonderful!

I know Alex keeps lights on her quail, but regardless, Button quail are generally kept inside so they don't have much of a problem with fertility loss in the winter. I know mine seem to lay more during the winter. Cute babies [IMG]
