Hi peepers,

So I'm really impatient but I've got eggs from my 2 breeding pairs in the bator and I was wondering what mutations I could get from these 2 pairings.

First pair is my blue faced wing pied male and his mate my pure white female (no markings) I know white is recessive so am I right in thinking the babies will be blue faced or pieds?

The second pairing has me stumped tho. My darth vader (blue faced red breasted) male and my silver pearl (silver red breasted?) Female. Both mutations are recessive so am I right in thinking dilute darths are a possibility here?

Attached piks of them all 😍

Love the stranger things names.

It is hard to predict since we don't know what genes they are hiding!

SInce it looks like your blue face is double factor, I'm guessing the first pairs offspring will all be blue face, but there will be some blue-face pied.

Since the second ones are reccessive, there is no telling, because we don't know if the others are hiding copies of those alleles or not!

Let us know the hatch results!

Theyre my stranger birds 😂 I have an Eddie and a Steve too 😂

I'm soooooo eggcited first eggs from both pairings have developed (definate throbbing veins when candled) statistically improbable but I guess Dustin n Hopper are just randy 😂

Those 2 eggs go on lockdown on Friday... then more of their eggs go on lockdown the week after ... eeek!!

Pretty sure my Eddie is a golden pearl ... hes got some beautiful gold feathers popped through 😍
