Hiya, I have a day old Button quail chick out of a group of 4 all hatched fine and have been cheeping and lively all day, till a few moments ago when I noticed one of th yellow ones on its back. It can't stand properly and it keeps twisting it's body awkwardly. I've put it back in the incubator and given it some sugar water with a tiny bit of poultry tonic in but its fading fast is there anything else I can do rather than just watch it die? Well the little one died. The next day the other little yellow one started acting the same and that passed away too, I'm thinking it could be something to do with the heat as the darker ones seem fine. I know white reflects heat so maybe they're not warm enough? It's the only thing I can think of right now [IMG]
