Look on your local Craigslist or Kijiji for local people. Also, Facebook is a great resource. You could also order from an online hatchery.

Kijiji is the Canadian version of Craigslist except a lot easier to use. Up here folks use it way more- I don't know about the U.S. though.

Ideal hatchery will start shipping ducks in Feb.
They offer sexed ducklings too which is nice.
They are in Texas so hopefully the weather will be good.

I got my Rouen's from Metzer. Originally ordered from Ideal, but they cancelled at last minute and I 'had to' have new ducks so I called Metzer and they shipped me 6 perfect babies. 2 male, 4 female.

I think Metzer and Cackle are the only ones that will ship small qty. Metzer will ship as few as 2.

I just wanted to rescue some Rouens and Metzer provided.:)

May be a little early for ducks, at least for me mine haven't started laying again (let alone ready to hatch) and a few breeders that I often get some hatching eggs from have also not had their ducks starting to lay yet.

I have Cayugas so they are not as prolific layers. This could be part of it perhaps.
