Congrats on the boy's win. It sounds like he is having some fun with the new team.

He is. He had played with two of the team mates when he was much younger, and he makes friends easily. When we walked into the complex on Tuesday, he was hanging out with his old team. He does miss them, and they miss him, but I think the friendships will endure.

It sounds like California during fire season. I hope not too much area is burned and that no one is hurt.

Can't like that Shad. We've had a few fires here already although not forest fires. Can they call for additional help? I hope you and the village are safe!

You can smell it here. Hopefully it won't get here.
I know a couple of the firefighters here who will have been called out to this. I hope they get back okay. The fires in the woodlands get so hot that the plant roots underground burn. One minute the fire is in front of you and the next it's burning behind you as well.
