I had a mr piggy not abused who would do that when our Rottweiler would try to herd him. We had his tusks removed after he brushed my leg and gave me a 5" long gash just below the knee. Not being mean but impatient about food.

There were sows kept for breeding at the farm I spent my childhood on. It took three men to get the piglets. Sows with young are seriously dangerous.

Yea they are! My dad would let me help feed even the bulls we kept but not the pigs, even without piglets in the pens. One sow nearly got him one day, pulled his boot clean off as he was hustling over the fence. I laughed so hard I almost cried, nothing ever seemed to scare my dad back then, but that mama sure did!

Sometimes I have nightmares about Super Chemical Girl's Broody Turkey from Heck.
Don't know why except I frequently buy low sodium turkey from Walmart's Deli. Maybe she found out about that.

Wow i had no idea pigs were so vicious and scary!! Are pot bellied pigs and the “mini” pigs like that too? Don’t think I want a pet pig lol

Yep they are very impatient with any feeding time. I miss Miss Piggy’s time by a few minutes she will squeal until I come out.

kdogg on one crime show I watched many years ago, they could never find people missing, alive or dead. One day they stumbled upon a farm with many pigs and shoes in their pen. Guess the pigs were too full to eat the shoes. Aha! Too gruesome. Stopped watching after that.

Miss Piggy is a potbelly pig. Those mini’s they advertise are made by selectively breeding smaller piglets from potbellies. They have a shorter lifespan than a regular potbelly pig; about 5 years compared to the 15-20.

There was definitely no sleeping in with him around. And if I was out past bedtime he would steal my pillow to sleep on. Hammy was an indoor/outdoor piggy, hung out with the dogs at my side all day.

My pet javalena was a 1 person animal. He started out being friendly with everyone but one day just turned into a 1 person pig.
He tried to be the Alpha with me one night while I was processing deer. He got in the walkin freezer and would not come out...in trying to get him out I inadvertently dropped a deer neck on his head ('bout 20lbs) he didn't like that too much. He started popping his teeth and trying to attack me. I had a big thick plastic top to a meat tote, between him and me. I just kept kicking it right into his nose until I thought he had gone down for the count. He came too but ever after I was the Boss! He made the best watch dog ever...nothing got by him and he could hear an ant walking, so no one ever tried to sneak around my place.
