This is sooo my kind of project. Too bad I can't help. I wouldn't know where to begin. Me thinks you need to start with a computer engineer to build a program.

I like them both, but I found Illustrator to be more illustration centered rather that photo editing...but that's just what I noticed. Then again, I am a big Illustrator fan

One thing for me was that Ai didn't have any tutorials, whereas Ps did, so I leaned towards the latter. Right now I'm using MediBang because my laptops don't have enough storage for big programs. Seems like every art program I touch takes forever to save, and crashes on me.

Oh, also @Fanci Feathers Marans , Adobe makes both Photoshop and Illustrator.

Yeah... funny how it's titled the way it is, yet so few Illustrators use it.
I guess they pitch the instructions.

Don't worry guys it was just an idea, and I know it's a very long shot. It's fine if we can't do it, and as I said it was just an idea. It would be good for the site to have a genetics calculator but there would also be problems like coding, images, and staff actually caring.
There would also be the issue of 'would this project attract more people to the site?' Because, even if it did, would it attract enough people to actually be beneficial?
It is a huge project and would probably take literal years, not to mention time and money. I feel as though I underestimated how hard this was going to be, and I understand now that it will be costly, and may not make the site better.
I am very stressed out at the moment and I really can't do this, sorry about causing a fuss. I don't need the stress of this.

Look at all the artists you brought together. And you are so creative, positive and good at collaborating. Maybe something else cool could come of it. A chicken identification app would be cool.
