What are your tools of the trade?

Mine is a Ruger 10/22 with a red dot scope and a flash light. Using 60 grain Aguila Sniper Sub Sonics. Very effective against predators under 50lbs. Very quiet. His name is Darwin.

Nice. Ammo is getting sparse and expensive.

Mauser 98 custom .280 rem with 139 gr SSTs for the long shots. Makes a mess of the pelts, still waiting on my AR 15 match rifle. Had to replace a furnace instead, will have to wait for the panic to die off now before I can get one.

Ithaca M37 12 ga with #4 lead for around the yard.

.22 Norinco JW15 boltgun for the smaller lawn and garden pests mostly. Real tack driver, similar to the CZ 452 currently available.

Browning Hi Power 9mm with 124 gr JSP handloads goes with me in the holster.

Got a yodeler with the M1 Garand last year! Needless to say, I don't live where I have to be quiet. Gunshots are a good thing in my neighborhood. Lets me know which neighbors would be good in a fight.

12 gauge shot gun! 1 that is all I need. Not in a panic about adding anymore. If I have to register it and get insurance on it I probably will get rid of it.No big deal I don't hunt anymore anyway. I have 3 maltese dogs that give me enough advance warning if anyone is around, Gives me plenty of time to load a bow or take my knife out of my pocket. I refuse to fall into the scare tactics that the NRA is trying to make everyone believe. 2 weekends ago you couldn't get on the parking lot of the gun store here. All I could say was look at all the stupid idiots falling for this crap. And then I seen a picture of Ted Nugent and I figured out why he is in a panic. If he has to go through a mental illness check they will come and take his guns away from him! That guy looks like he is one step away from the funny farm! I hope they get this weapons issue resolved soon so everyone can go back to normal. I am so ****** off at the NRA and the way they chose to handle this, I will never support them again. They don't care about us gun owners they only care about their money. I think that comedian has the right idea just not as extreme as he talked about. Charge 5000.00 dollars for ammo! Only do what they did to cigarettes put a lot of taxes on them federal and state. If you buy them assembled. But for lose gun powder, shells and anything else you need to pack your own shells sell at regular cost. Take the extra tax money and use it to support the police to guard our schools. There problem solved.

At the risk of this becoming a political thread, I will bite most of my tongue and only say this is a very dangerous line of thought IMHO. It's not about hunting or what guns someone decides we "need" anymore than free speech is about what you should be allowed to utter. It's about Liberty.
