The only thing off there I'd eat is potato and that's only if it's in it's french fry form.

I’m surprised no one has come here to argue vegetable/fruit classifications. You guys impressed me.

Not gonna lie, I very nearly did It's the biologist in me, it's hard to hold back sometimes. But I figured we were going with the culinary definition, not the botanical one, and it's a holiday in the U.S. so I let it slide.

The only one that really bothers me as far as definition goes is mushrooms. They're not even a plant so they can't be a vegetable. Also they're yucky.

I love broccoli florets tossed in olive oil with course ground sea salt, fresh ground black pepper, parm cheese and then roasted. Mmmmm
