It's really weird to me how so many of my eggs were fertile and developed and just suddenly died. Especially the SS eggs which we're looking great and then all died eventually.

I am so done with broody hens. I had 3 in broody jail. Just a few minutes ago, I took one that I wasn't 100% sure was broody when I put her in and released her after 2 days or so. Then I left the coop and came back 5 minutes later to see her plopped screaming on the nest.I only have 5 and they will hopefully be my broody girls.
That happened with my last hatch. I assumed it had something to do with the power outage I had for like 2 hours right at lockdown, but idk for sure. It's really weird to me how so many of my eggs were fertile and developed and just suddenly died. How old are the chickens that laid them? How long have they been laying? It's really weird to me how so many of my eggs were fertile and developed and just suddenly died. Especially the SS eggs which we're looking great and then all died eventually.
