Day 3 is when they start to get wing tips and learn to flutter, usually not all in the same day though, lol. You might need weights for that one to keep it grounded, lol

17 the silkie hatched. Shes absolutely tiny and looks solid black except for head. I moved Cupcake and Muffin to the brooder but didn't put food just yet. Tomorrow I'll put peach and Beth the silkie x in.

I tried candling the other 5 eggs but could only see through the one silkie egg (All others are ee eggs of course) and it looks a big behind. I still see veins. Maybe it'll pip tomorrow or on saturday.

My 5th chick just hatched. I have 4 yellow/buff/ginger chicks (hard to tell until they dry off) and one black chick.

If no new ones pip by morning I'll move these to the brooder and candle and listen to the rest.

We are officially all hatched of our 20 eggs incubated, 19 made it to lockdown and all 19 have successfully hatched.
