Hello!
I have 4 Ameraucana hens I purchased as TSC last May. They have been laying for a little while now but all 4 of them have eggs with calcium deposits on and even one has them inside.
One of the 4 was on a layer feed for a while and still had the same issue. Oyster shell is offered as well.
I’ve never had an issue like this that has lasted so long. Every one and then I would get an egg like that from a hen, but not daily. The eggs with the most deposits are always thinner.
My best guess is that it’s genetic? Hoping to find a possible solution or answer. Thank you!
