Do you mean valley quail or mountain quail? We don't have partridges in california, except for some chukars down in the desert but they aren't natural here.

I don't but now that everyone knows you're after valley quail you'll be more likely to find some.

you may want to check this forum out. They may have what you are looking for. You also don't say if you are looking for adult birds, chicks or eggs, so you may want to be more specific so those with that type of quail can better assist you.
