California quail day 5

I have them in my Janoel 12 incubator. Today is day 5...should I candle them or wait a few more days so I can take out what is not good?

On day 5 if they are fertile, it will be apparent, when candled.

Today is day 8. I candled them and saw several that are very obviously good. Dark spot and spider web looking blood vessels.
Some that are not. I can clearly see just a yellow yolk floating around.
Can I assume that these should be taken out. There isn't even a hint of anything but a yolk.

By day 8 if there is no development, it's not likely they will develop, so you can removed them or leave them till your final candling.
