California quail. How big are they?

Thank you for that. I kept clicking site after site and all they would say is they are small. I just wanted to know how small. Now to find out if they can be kept with King Quail and Canaries in my aviary. They would have ground to run around on and lots of perching places. Them seem like beautiful birds.
