I recently acquired this pretty girl, but not sure what breed she is. She has just a little black/ dark gray in her. lays a HUGE light brown egg. Very sweet and smart! Any ideas? She had just finished molting here, her comb is darker now.

I did read that a Tetra Tint lays a brown egg, but not sure about the California White. Thanks for your input. [IMG]

She's most likely a Tetra Tint. I can definitely see the Leghorn in her.

Looks like a cross between an Australorp and a Leghorn, called and Austra White.
