I can post mine to if you like. They grow so fast, its hard to imagine 5 of those big babies even fitting inside momma now.

Here are some picts of our momma, daddy and babies. Its the first litter for all of us. I have my buns in our dog crates. One of our does doesn't like poo in her cage and kicks it out everywhere, wish she would just use the litter box!

I don't really trust my scale, it's an old spring scale and fluctuates with the temps. I'll re-weigh when I get a new scale but for now this is what it says.

My buck is 11lbs.
Doe 1 is 7lbs
Doe 2 is 6 1/2lbs

Doe 1 is the one with babies right now.
Doe 2 is due Jan 9th.

The does are 7 months old. They wouldn't have been my first choice but there isn't much choice for NZ's around here. They were mal nurished and extremely small so this is a test breeding to see if they are worth keeping. If the babies grow well and meet the standard I will keep them. If not I'll have to start looking again.

I went ahead and weighed the babies too (on my kitchen scale).
They are 211g, 240g, 219g, 227g, 238g

The other thread was in oz so I converted the weights to match.
They are 7.4oz, 8.5oz, 7.7oz, 8.0oz and 8.4oz = 40oz

One has a torn ear so can't be shown. Momma stepped on it when it was 2 days old and tore it. Scab came off last night and part of the ear is missing. Poor thing.

Yes she does. Thats what I thought at first till I saw the rest of the family. Some were all black and all big. A guy bred his meat rabbits to be big and then one day decided he didn't want to do rabbits anymore. He sold all 8 rabbits, cages, and supplies for $200. I bought her second. It was too many rabbits for the guy that bought them.
