    i have 10 pair of this years birds all molting out lovely
    they are in a 6mtr x 5mtr aviary ,
    How do you think they will get on altogether breeding as a colony ?

    They will get along terribly and you should let be do my good deed for the day and allow me to take them off your hands [​IMG]

    I'm not very familiar with those quail, do they normally form colonies? It seems that most people keep them in groups of 3-5, but if you have plenty of room for them they should be okay. What's your m/f ratio?

    ratio 10 hen 10cocks .now they all get along fine but once them breeding bits start working who knows???????

    I have mine in colonies and they do fine together.
