MY SON AND I ARE LOOKING FOR SOME CALL DUCK EGGS TO HATCH WITH HIS CLASS WE ARE HOPING FOR SOME BUTTERSCOTCH, SNOWY OR WHITE BUT ANY WILL DO
THANKS

Right now it will probably be difficult to find call duck eggs because it is not the season for them. I know mine only lay throughout the spring and summer.

If anyone is still getting call duck eggs this time of year, the fertility is going to be way down! Best to wait until spring.....and call duck eggs are hard to hatch in an incubator. I suggest one of 2 things.........1: get really good at hatching chicken eggs and then try call duck eggs 2: buy a few Silkie hens and place eggs under them( spray the eggs lightly every couple of days with luke warm water)

I'd have to disagree about the fertility on the call eggs. I had my snowy call girl lay 6 eggs (before she was killed) and all 6 were fertile. One was cracked when some chickens hatched as the eggs were set only a week, and Saturday I expect 5 baby snowies to hatch.
JMO,
Kristi
