Best to be rid of him. A vet may be able to properly castrate him but I'm sure he'd need to be knocked out for it and goats don't handle anesthesia or sedation well, nor pain. Hopefully the new female won't be too pushy either.I know! He is frantically chasing her in the pen and well all I can say is trying to breed her and he won't stop either. Sadly he is going back to my Pals. I think like horses he was cut proud and still acting like a Buck.
They will bring a Doe till I can get Tori in the spring. I can't have this going on!
Well this is not pushy but chasing! Breeding and sad.Best to be rid of him. A vet may be able to properly castrate him but I'm sure he'd need to be knocked out for it and goats don't handle anesthesia or sedation well, nor pain. Hopefully the new female won't be too pushy either.
LMAO I popped on this thread for a moment and this is what I saw, thought you were talking about Shannon's husband for a split second
Well, what can you do! Are you going to rehome him?
Hmmm....Shannon, which one do you prefer to rehome? You can only keep one of them.LMAO I popped on this thread for a moment and this is what I saw, thought you were talking about Shannon's husband for a split second
Maybe for the nights..It’s a little below freezing and the 2 babies I hatched in December (the pullet and cockerel) are cold. The mom has no interest in them. Should I bring them inside the garage?
Do I have to answer honestly?Hmmm....Shannon, which one do you prefer to rehome? You can only keep one of them.
