Calling all mechanics/car ppl!!!! Chick pick-up emergency!!!

Okay, my car doesn't start when it rains out, and I don't know what's wrong!!!! And it's supposed to rain all this week, and my chicks are coming in tomorrow or Wednesday! Anyone know what could be wrong???? Someone told me it could be the coil, but I don't know. Thanks!!!!

My van did that once...didn't even have to be raining...just really damp weather. The distributor cap was cracked just enough to allow a little moisture in.

If you have some WD-40 take it and spray it around the distributor cap. If it starts after that that is probably your problem. Check all the electrical and make sure there is not open ends or cracks in the wires. Also check your spark plug wires, if they are bad they will short out in the damp and you won't get any power to the spark plugs.
